Camille Laberche

French ceramics worker, clerk, anarchist and trade union activist.

The natural son of a daily newspaper, Camille Laberche, who had married in Limoges on August 9, 1919, lived in this city at the 5 impasse Chatou. Ceramic worker. he was in the early 1920s a member of the autonomous ceramics union and collaborated in the series of the Libertairedaily Libertarian (1923-1925).

After the Paris Congress of the Communist Anarchist Union (30 October-1 November 1927), a split of the supporters of the synthesis was formed around Sébastien Faure* in a new organization, the Association of Anarchist Federalists (AFA). A member of the AFA, Laberche collaborated with his organ La Voix Libertaire (Limoges, March 1929-July 1939) of which he was the manager from June 25, 1932 to April 25, 1936. After ten years of activism at the autonomous union, believing that autonomous-confederate alliances were detrimental to the autonomous union and revolutionary syndicalism, he left the organization and on April 14, 1933, with A. Perrissaguet*, created the intercorpotative group of the CGTSR. In November 1935 he was elected to the Limoges bureau of the CGTSR alongside Chalard*, Ferré, Vincent, Perrissaguet, Boucharel*, Peyroux* and Coussy*.

In January 1938 Laberche moved to Meudon (Hauts-de-Seine) at 19 rue Gambetta. He worked as an office worker at the technical research facility of the Ministry of Air in Chamais-Meudon. The police did not report that he had activities in the Paris region.

In March 1950, in the Cahiers Fernand PELLOUTIER (CGT-FO; FEN-FO), edition n°8-9, he wrote about the 49th anniversary of the death of Pelloutier.

Camille Laberche died in Limoges on 21 September 1962.
