Francesco Ghezzi

Italian individualist anarchist and anarcho-syndicalist, died in a Soviet gulag after several arrests.
In 1919 Together with Ugo Fedeli and Pietro Bruzzi he draws up the anarchist periodicals Nihilism and The Individualist.

In 1956 Nikita Chrushchev, after the request of Ghezzi's wife, Olga Gaake, decided to reopen the Ghezzi case, with the aim of rehabilitating him. His accusers of the time, who retract the allegations and admit that the statements had been obtained after violence, are thus heard again. In May 1956 the Moscow Court invalidated his convictions because "the evidence against him was not sufficient".
