Spanish militant anarchist, historian and Civil War combatant. Paz helped found the 'Los Quijotes del Ideal' group in August 1936, along with Victor García, Liberto Sarrau and other young libertarians. (Los Quijotes del Ideal opposed anarchist collaboration with the Republican government.) Author of 'Durruti, the People Armed' (1976), 'CNT 1939-1951: El Anarquismo contra el Estado Franquista' (Anarchism versus the Francoist State; Madrid: 2001).
