Biography

A member from the early 1930’s of the youth group of the CNT of Calanda (Teruel). A very demanding activist, he loved, when he crossed in the street a boss or a bourgeois, to sing to him: “Esos burgueses, asaz egoistas que asi desprecian a la humanidad, seran barridos por los anarquistas”. He was also part of the Amanecer AmanecerTheatrical Group.

From the beginning of the Francoist coup, he was, like his brother-in-law Floréal Carbo, a volunteer in the “Durruti” column in which he was going to fight throughout the war.

Passed in France during the Retirada, he was interned in the Vernet camp while his father was interned at the camp of Bram where he died. He settled after the Liberation in Ariège and continued to campaign at the CNT of exile until his death at Rieux de Pelleport (Ariège) on 4 February 1989.
