Joseph Thomas Deakin

English ticket office worker, socialist and anarchist, who is best known for his part in the so-called 'Walsall bomb plot', a provocation organised by Chief Inspector William Melville (1883-1917), superintendent of the Metropolitan Police Special Branch, and for which Deakin was sentenced to five years in prison.
