Biography

Indian leading figure in Sarvodaya, the post-Ghandi his social philosophy, his social philosophy was fundamentally anarchist and communitarian. He argued for absolute non-violence, social organisation based on universal love, decision making by consensus, the replacement of coercion by the recognition of moral authority, and the minimisation and eventual abolition of state power.
